FAST

FAST (For Active Stimulation of Tract) is an early feeding concept for one-day-old chicks developed by INVE België NV focusing on two major goals:

• enhancing feed intake shortly after chicks are hatched or arrive in the poultry house and
• stimulating the development of the intestinal tract.

Highly digestible proteins, different types of carbohydrates and fibers, additives supporting the bird’s immunity and ability to digest the alimentary fat are brought together in a unique mixture of a cold-pressed granulate and a meal fraction.

FAST should be used during the first 2 days of life at 25 to 30 g/chick. Preferably, FAST is distributed on paper in the poultry house next to the feeders containing the common starter feed.
